Account & Login
If you can’t log in to my.oscartemplog.se, first check that you’re using the email address the account was created with. If that doesn’t work, choose “Forgot my password” on the sign-in screen to request a new password. A reset link will be sent to the email address the account was created with.
To change your portal password, sign in with your main account email. Then go to “Settings” > “My Details”. At the bottom of the page you can change your password
In the portal, under “Settings”, choose “Sharing” in the left menu. Enter the email address(es) you want to share with. You can also choose whether the person sees both alarms and data, or data only. Note that only the main account can make changes/settings in my.oscartemplog.se; invited users under “Sharing” cannot make changes.
See our user guide under Settings, point 1, for more details.

Alerts & Notifications
Check the following:
• Under “Settings” > “Alarms”: make sure alarm limits are set. If not, see the user guide under Settings, point 2.
• Check that the email address the alert should go to is listed under “Settings” > “Alarms” and is assigned to “And alarms”.
• Ensure the email address is marked “Active” under “Settings” > “Sharing”. If it shows “invited”, the user must accept the invitation.
• Make sure “Email” and “App push notifications” are ticked under “Settings” > “My details” > “Notifications”.
• Check that “Do Not Disturb” under “Settings” > “My details” > “Notifications” is not enabled.
The sensors measure air temperature, while the fridge measures the load (representing the medicine). The load is less sensitive to temperature fluctuations than the air. The sensor logs continuously but transfers data to the web portal every 15 minutes.
Sensor & Gateway
Sensors and gateway are paired at delivery. Remove the plastic tab in the battery compartment and they will start communicating. Sensors are labelled with the names provided at order. Refresh my.oscartemplog.se to see that the sensor is paired. Under “Settings” > “Device list”, check that the sensor is listed. If not, contact Oscar for support.
1. Check the sensor’s signal strength: “Data” > “Overview” > (select sensor) > “Wireless”
2. Move the gateway without unplugging the network or power cable to see if the signal improves. After each move, press the sensor’s button for a manual readout. The result is sent by email and as an app notification.
3. Check for obvious obstacles between sensor and gateway. Place the gateway as free as possible.
4. Check the sensor’s battery status and replace if needed. Make sure the sensor is online before replacement. The sensor logs data locally for 72 hours.
5. If the signal does not improve, an additional gateway may be required. Contact support, preferably via our form.
“Manual readout” is a direct reading from the sensor. Otherwise, the sensor reads every 15 minutes and uploads to your account on my.oscartemplog.se. To easily check that the sensor is sending alerts, press the sensor button for a manual readout—it will generate an email or an app notification.
The sensor has a 2-hour delay; the gateway has a 15-minute delay.
1. If the light on top is red, there’s no internet connection. Contact your IT department.
2. Check whether there has been a power outage (offline and then reconnected).
3. If the red light is on, internet is missing—contact IT.
4. If the gateway has internet but still isn’t online, contact support (preferably via the form).
In my.oscartemplog.se under “Settings” > “My details”, change the name. You can also change the email address there. Then log out and sign in again with the new email.
Oscar ML Series – Pharmaceutical refrigerators
Here Oscar answers frequently asked questions about our ML series refrigerators, intended for the safe storage of medicines.
Temperature
The value shown on the display measures the temperature in the mass (representing the medicine) and this is the value the alarm uses. Max and min values are measured in the air inside the refrigerator. Because air reacts faster to temperature changes than the mass, the max/min values may differ even when the mass is within the alarm limits (2–8 °C). In other words, the max value may display above 8 °C without triggering an alarm because the mass temperature is still within range.
When checking the max/min readings on our ML series, you should only press one button at a time. To reset the maximum and minimum values, do the following:
1. Press the up-arrow button and release.
2. Then press SET for more than 3 seconds.
3. “rSt” blinks and the maximum temperature is reset.
4. Press the down-arrow button and release.
5. Then press SET for more than 3 seconds.
6. “rSt” blinks and the minimum temperature is reset.
For best readings: reset max/min in the afternoon/evening and check the value the next morning.
The refrigerator has a preset setpoint at delivery, e.g., 5 °C. Press and release the SET button to display the setpoint. On the ML series you never press two buttons simultaneously for everyday routines.
Other
The display can be locked to prevent accidental button presses. Hold the up- and down-arrow buttons simultaneously. Use the same procedure to unlock.
• pOf = display locked
• pOn = display unlocked
The refrigerator light is turned on/off with the black button to the right of the display.

Oscar MX/AX Series – Pharmaceutical refrigerators
Here Oscar answers frequently asked questions about our MX/AX series refrigerators, intended for safe handling of medicines.
Temperature
If you experience a high temperature, check for ice on the cooling fins at the top inside. If there is ice, defrost: switch the refrigerator off until all ice is gone (preferably overnight), then switch it back on.
Ice usually forms if the door has been open for a long time or if room conditions have changed, e.g., it’s warmer or the unit is built-in with poorer airflow.
Check that the sensor cable is at the bottom of the bottle in the middle of the cabinet on the left side (“do not empty container”) and that the bottle isn’t empty. Top up with glycerol if needed and ideally keep the bottle in the refrigerator for 24 hours before refilling so the glycerol reaches the correct temperature.
Always make sure the door is properly closed.
Tips & Tricks
To use the temperature log:
1. Press Menu.
2. Press OK on “Temp. journal”
The temperature is shown per day, logged every 15 minutes. Up/Down changes day; Left/Right changes time in 15-minute steps. The temperature is shown at the lower right.
Empty the container regularly. If water is running inside the cabinet, the hose is blocked or the container hasn’t been emptied.
If the display shows only an exclamation mark and a clock, temperature is not faulty—the unit is alarming because the date/time is incorrect.
1. Menu
2. Down to “Customer settings”
3. OK
4. “Date/Time”
5. OK
6. Change the highlighted digit with Up/Down; move with Left/Right
7. Confirm with OK and exit with ESC
As long as the red alarm light is **NOT** lit, the temperature has been between 2 and 8 °C.
If the red light is on:
1. Menu
2. Right twice to “Alarm”
3. OK
The latest temperature alarm (time, temperature, date) is shown and the red light goes out if the temperature is now within 2–8 °C. Then check the temperature log to see how long it was out of range.

Oscar VXT Series – Pharmaceutical refrigerators
Here Oscar answers frequently asked questions about our VXT series refrigerators, intended for use in medicine handling.
Temperature
Check for ice on the cooling fins at the top inside. If there is ice, defrost: switch the unit off until all ice is gone (preferably overnight).
To switch off: hold button 6 for about 12 seconds until the refrigerator turns off.
To start: hold button 6 for about 12 seconds until the refrigerator starts.
Ice often forms if the door has been left open for a long time or if room conditions have changed (e.g., warm room) or if the unit is built-in with poor airflow.
Make sure the door is properly closed. For double-door models, ensure both doors are closed.
Check that the sensor cable is at the bottom of the bottle marked “do not empty container” (middle of the cabinet on the left) and that the bottle isn’t empty. Top up with glycerol if needed and ideally keep the bottle in the refrigerator for 24 hours before refilling.
Check the Min/Max values and when they were last reset. To reset: hold the speaker button (button 2) for 3 seconds until “rES” appears.
Check the setpoint with button 5. If it’s not correct, adjust by:
1. Hold control button 5 for at least 5 seconds and keep holding it.
2. To make it warmer: press button 1 at the same time (max 7 °C).
3. To make it colder: press button 2 at the same time (min 3 °C).
If a max temperature above 8 °C is shown and no red alarm light is on, the unit is not faulty—there has been a power outage. Contact your electricity provider to confirm the duration. (Applies only to units where button 5 is white.)
Tips & Tricks
Empty the container regularly. Water inside the cabinet indicates a blocked hose or that the container hasn’t been emptied.
Displayed when there has been a power outage and the temperature is above +8 °C when power returns. (Applies only to units where button 5 is blue.) Acknowledge by pressing the speaker button (button 2) briefly for about 1 second.
Do not leave the key in the lock. This way you know the door is closed and locked when you leave the unit, so it doesn’t remain ajar.
